Northern Carers Network (NCN) acknowledges the valuable role Carers play in our community. Carers often provide support for loved ones 24/7, in an unpaid capacity and usually with little or no training. At NCN, we understand that Carers sometimes need a helping hand to carry out their demanding role and we provide that support through respite, counselling, information, advocacy and recreational activities.

By assisting Carers to take a break from their responsibilities, they have the opportunity to play a greater role in family and community activities. NCN can assist with a supportive outlet aimed at overcoming feelings of isolation and anxiety experienced by many Carers.

We are a self-managed support organisation funded through Home and Community Care and provide assistance for Carers living in the Town of Gawler, City of Playford, City of Port Adelaide Enfield, City of Salisbury and the City of Tea Tree Gully.
